Day 1: Ouarzazate / Rose Valley / Dades Gorge and Todra
Morning departure from Ouarzazate in 4 × 4 for Oasis Skoura (crossing the track to see all the kasbah, the palm.) Continue by road to reach El Kelaa M'Gouna (stop to visit the manufactures of roses) and take the trail that crosses the Valley of Roses (thousand kasbahs road) to reach the Dades Gorge, lunch at the foot of the gorge, take a walk along the rivière.L the afternoon, continuation by road to arrive at the Todra Gorge, hiking in the gorges, dinner and overnight in the Gorges, hotel or guest house.
Day 2: Todra Gorges / Erg Chebbi / Merzouga Dunes
Morning departure by 4 × 4 to Merzouga via Tafilalet Valley, Erfoud lunch, continue the trail into 4 × 4 (the hamada: desert of stones) to get to Merzouga dunes to arrive at the bivouac located in the desert by camel departure (2 hours) enjoying a beautiful sunset at the top of the dunes of Erg Chebbi (250 m). Dinner and overnight at the luxury bivouac (nomad tent).
Day 3: Merzouga / Zagora per track
After breakfast departure by 4 × 4 through the Draa Valley through Tazarine lunch Kob (Berber village). In the afternoon, continuation to Zagora and then by road from the track to find yourself closer to the palm and its kasbah, arrived in Zagora for dinner and overnight at a very nice house
Day 4: Zagora / Tamgroute / Mhamid / Erg Lihoudi
Morning free to relax and enjoy the pool at the riad (possibility to visit the city in 4 × 4) - Lunch at the riad - the afternoon departure by 4 × 4 for Tamgroute (visit her pottery making and its Koranic library) and arrive at the village of M'Hamid (end of paved road and gateway to the desert), continue by road through the desert (20 km) to reach the bivouac at the foot of the dunes of Erg Lihoudi, welcome tea in the tent, then stroll around the dunes on foot and enjoy a beautiful sunset. Dinner and overnight at bivouac.
Day 5: Erg Lihoudi / Mhamid / Dunes Chegaga
After breakfast, depart by another 4 × 4 track to reach the village of M'Hamid you can take a shower, then off in 4 × 4 to visit the village and its surroundings: Kasbah, ancient village of slaves and the crossroads of the caravans. Lunch in a beautiful riad in the heart of the palm, the afternoon departure by 4 × 4 for the dunes Chagaga crossing 60 km of desert (Hamada, Erg oases.) Arrive at the dunes before sunset sun, to climb the dune and enjoy a beautiful sunset, dinner and overnight at the camp at the foot of the dunes.
Day 6: Chegaga / Foumzguid / Tazenakht / Ouarzazate
After breakfast, departure by 4 × 4 to 90 km cross over into the wilderness by taking advantage of different landscapes (Iriqui lake, mountains, fossils, track Paris-Dakar.) Lunch taken at the first village after the desert Foum Zguid (can take a shower). In the afternoon, continue by asphalt road through Taznakht (village famous for its carpet making), arrival at Ouarzazate in the late afternoon. |
